Today marks the end of a successful first trip around the sun forPark Hill Financial Planning & Investment Management. Hard to believe it has already been a year—as they say, time flies when you’re having fun!
A year ago, I was optimistic, albeit cautiously so, as I waded into the sea of entrepreneurship for the first time knowing full well that 25% of new businesses fail to reach their first birthday and most require 18 to 24 months to attain profitability. A scary notion—especially considering my wife and I were expecting our second child at the time.
Owning and operating PHFP has exceeded my wildest expectations, and the last year has been the most rewarding and profound of my career. As I reflect on the last twelve months, I am overjoyed by the firm’s success, but I am not feeling satisfied or content in the slightest.
It is the privilege of my life to be able to work together with fifteen amazing families—I cannot thank each one of you enough for your ongoing trust and support. You mean the world to me and my family.
That said, the firm is only beginning to hit its stride and can and will do more for our existing and growing number of families.
To that end, the firm remains steadfast in its mission to empower individuals and families in Denver and beyond to achieve their definition of financial freedom while providing personalized concierge planning, service, and pricing models that most traditional advisory firms cannot and will not.
